All of our programs will include the following. Some programs will include more, so please be sure to read the program descriptions thoroughly.  

Tuition and fees at Host School

We will pay your tuition and fees at the Host School, so you don’t need to worry about the increasing cost of tuition or fluctuating exchange rates. You will be responsible for buying textbooks, but these are generally cheaper overseas.  

Transcript

You qualify for a transcript from the Host School.  Before you pay for the program, we’ll make sure that your Home School will accept the credits you are expecting to earn. 

Accommodation

Meals are excluded unless specifically stated otherwise. 

Three SIIP Cultural Tours for full semester students

At least one of these will be to another country. If your program lasts less than eight weeks, you will qualify for one SIIP Cultural Tour. 

Orientation

We’ll meet you at the airport, and you’ll have a few days to adjust to jet-lag before your classes begin. We’ll help you to live independently very quickly by providing you with an orientation before and resources during your program.  

Overseas staff

SIIP employs overseas staff who will be your friendly faces on the ground. 

Pre-departure orientation

We’ll let you know what to expect when you arrive – before you go. This will help you to pack sensibly.  

Cell-phone and welcome packet

We’ll get you a cell-phone, and your welcome packet will even include sheets and a towel if you’re staying in accommodations where these amenities are not provided.

Rental opportunities

We’ll help you to rent a microwave or a mini-fridge if you need them, at competitive prices. 

Financial aid assistance and scholarships

We’ll liaise with your Home School about the cost of your program, and help you try to use financial aid to finance your studies.  We’ll also let you know about SIIP (and external) scholarship opportunities.  Every program has a sample budget so you know what to expect to spend. 

Carbon offsets

We’ll offset the greenhouse gases that are emitted by our operations, and by your travel.
