Stonehenge
Stonehenge was constructed and reconstructed in stages over at least fifteen hundred years.  In 2600 BC, bluestones from 160 miles away in Wales were used to help construct the monument.  We’ll visit the monument, and you can walk around it learning about the various theories for why it was constructed, and how it can be used as a calendar.  In the afternoon, we’ll head to Salisbury, where you can see a remaining original copy of the Magna Carta, dating from 1215 AD.
