SIIP has the right to make changes in its programs in the case of emergency; in case it believes a destination is not safe; or if a program does not enroll enough students.  In such cases, SIIP will not charge you more for the amended program than you agreed to pay for the program onto which you were accepted. 

If a program is cancelled and no alternative arrangements are available, your payments (excluding the Application Fee and the SIIP Insurance Fee) will be refunded by SIIP but you will not qualify for, and you agree not to seek from SIIP, compensation for any charges that you have incurred.  Therefore we encourage you to obtain travel insurance which covers at a minimum your outlay for international flights to the program destination.
